We still keep them away from the kids because messed wax is not safe, but I can turn it on in the morning and then leave it all day. We have one in our bedroom that I only turn on at night. And use it like a night light. It was convenient but the candles gave me a headache :( that said, no flame was a plus, BUT if kids or pets can reach the (hot) warmer or the plug to pull on, it's hot liquid wax lol. So I resold mine because I had nowhere to plug it in that was out of reach (and obviously the headache thing :silly: ). It almost looks like a small hot plate. They are a similar type of company to Pampered Chef, on they strictly do wax warmers. I haven't tried one yet, but my neighbor loves them. She doesn't have to worry about an open flame with her kids around, though the warmer does get pretty hot in order to melt the wax.
