Then I did a lot of research and found out that many people who think they might have bedbugs end up having carpet beetles. They don't bite humans or animals.. just feed on dust. Literally. Some people find them in wool sweaters. You will not believe the relief I felt when I discovered we had carpet beetles and not bedbugs. This was right after the Bees went through their bedbug infestation and I was scared TO DEATH. We thought we had bed bugs because I was finding bites all the time (but NO bites on Wagon Sr). Turns out we had carpet beetles and the hair from their legs can give you a reaction if you are allergic to it. They don't do any harm to humans. They feed on dust and fiber. We had a lot of dust and dander from our dogs.
