Same with the taro milk tea and a few fresh fruit slushes. However, we did make the other drinks and they're usually made with either powder or syrup, liquid sugar, powdered non dairy creamer, and water or tea. </p> <p>I don't think that a milk tea type boba drink is any worse for you than an iced coffee, especially if they make it with skim milk. You can also get it sugar free at most places, and if you are the type to carry around Splenda packets (heh, like me!) you can mix that in instead. </p> <p>The boba, on the other hand.... I have NO idea how bad it is for you. I'm pretty sure they boil it with all kinds of sugar. But I drank unlimited boba drinks for an entire semester and I didn't get fat!
