It's hard to try to find a positive in it happening. We have been told that with our IF issues, we have around a 2% chance of conceiving naturally. I never saw a BFP before my 2nd IVF cycle (trying since Oct '09), and it was such a sweet, overwhelming moment when it happened. Although I lost that pregnancy and just lost another one days ago (on 4th IVF cycle), the simple fact of getting the BFPs has brought me so much comfort, and given me a sense of confidence that I will get there in the end. I totally get what you mean-- I felt like I had finally achieved Step One, and that gave me renewed drive to keep reaching. Baby steps. But I am sooo impatient, and it's killing me! I just want to get ON with it, already! PCOS, insulin resistance, low egg count and my husband has low motility sperm. Never had a positive ovulation test, nonetheless a positive pregnancy test.
