Ours were complicated this year and so we took them to a CPA for that reason and the ballparked amount we'll get back doubled from me inputting them online. We did h and r block 2 years ago and they just filled in the online screen and charged us $300. There was a mess up on the newly required proof of health insurance form (THANKS OBAMA, jk jk), so I just finally got the corrected one back and we submitted everything to our CPA this week. </p> <p>We changed our withholdings last year so we don't get such a big refund back (don't want to give an interest free loan to the government any longer!) so I'm anxious to see if we withheld correctly, or withheld too much and owe, or if we will still get a refund. </p>
