Ours died and I had only been using it to reheat my coffee so we didn't replace it. Now I don't reheat coffee, but other than that, no biggie. I reheat everything in the oven. We haven't had one in about 18 months. Yes, we survived. Would I willingly do it again? No way. We don't have a toaster oven so the oven itself worked for reheating most things. But it was a pain to preheat the oven and the heat the food. Been living without one since last November and don't miss it! We just use the oven or stove to reheat stuff! It's not even a pain with a lo. We have a popcorn popper which is much better than microwave popcorn anyway!</p> <p>We did a gut renovation of our kitchen and did not want a microwave cluttering out counters and we don't like above range microwaves. I got pretty used to not using one and very rarely use ours now. Most of the time I just reheat things in the over or on the stove.
