Also, chunky thighs!! I didn't register for it, but someone gifted it to me. Now it's just taking up space in the closet.</p> <p>@sandy: This is actually a good reason to keep one around! It might be because where we used to live we mostly ate/sat at our island and the stools were really high compared to the highchair. But with #2 I can't imagine feeding her on the floor in the living room. WTF were we thinking? LOL. Bumbos should never be used on an elevated surface... and sitting on the floor to feed the baby is a huge pain in the butt. I used it very sparingly before LO could sit independently when I just needed somewhere to put him down quickly and it happened to be the closest option. We had something similar called a Super Seat, and that didn't really get used until he could sit up pretty well. I used it with the tray attachment and I could feed her meals easily when there wasn't a high chair available.
