I have a 2 door, but luckily my husband has 4 door so we switched. And we're talking about getting a mini van next. Good luck!

I'm sure it can and has been done, it's just not as convenient. But that's life with a baby.

No tips, but just wanted to chime in and say we'll be in a similar situation w/ DH's car. My car is a Subaru Forrester, but he drives a 2-door VW GTI. We're definitely going to bring his car to the baby store when we purchase our car seat, so we can make sure that we find one that fits!

It depends on the model, some 2 doors have more space than others. the honda accord 2 door has a bit more room than the honda civic 2 door.
If the car seat fits in there then you should be fine, its just a hassle getting it in every day, could you trade your car in for a 4 door?

Yep. I am one of those lucky soon to be parents with a two door car. Worst of all - my husband owns a two door as well!
Both Honda's.

I am not even done with payments on my car (a little under a year) and we really can't bring on a new car payment on right now. eeeek. Wish us luck!

but if there is anyone else out there in a similar situation.. any tips?!!
