I did the patch test on my back and took steroids to get them under control, but they never found a cause. I wasn't allergic to anything, and after a month of taking zyrtec, they went away. My allergist said that's the #1 reason they see patients, but it is often very difficult to pinpoint the cause.</p> <p>The past week they've returned again.
