We used the Baby Whisperer daily schedule too and it worked well for us!

@mrsjazz: I found the baby whisperer daily schedule very good for us (EASY = eat, activity, sleep, you-time) but the putting-to-sleep advice in that book did not work for us. (LO has no trouble with night sleeping, but for napping I'm still working on the best way to get him to sleep). Book is worth a read. Lots of good stuff in there otherwise.

I would like to read the no-cry sleep solution too.

@mrsjazz: Yes! I definitely recommend it especially if you are co-sleeping. It has some great tips and techniques for each of those. We are working through it because it talks about bf and cosleeping and how to wean them from that. I think if I can wean him from bf all night, we can get him in his bed.

We did baby whisperer but it didn't work for us. I have to work in the morning so I can't be up all night picking him up and putting him back.

@brownie: Would you recommend the book? We are also co-sleeping and looking into sleep training. (We aren't ready to do it yet, though)

I want to try the no-cry sleep solution but my husband wants to try the baby whisperer technique, which is sort of in the middle--picking the baby up when she cries but not using any rocking/bfing/or patting.

We were pretty lucky and got a good night time sleeper. A good napper.... that's another story. We just waited it out until she started napping well on her own though. Only took 8 months!

We haven't sleep trained. But we are working on the no-cry sleep solution book. I like it because it addresses cosleeping situations (like we are in) as well as crib sleeping situations.

I'd love to get any tips/advice. We are exploring all options and I was curious if anyone has successfully sleep trained without CIO.
