@Mrs. Blue: not sure if you've decided yet but I LOVED our stay here. We are on our last night and I wish we could have stayed a full week. If you'd like more details let me know, but they've really thought of everything here at this resort for people with young children. So fun. dh said today that it has been one of our best vacations yet. I have to agree.

We went to both turks and caicos and jamaica beaches. Loved loved loved it. Used child care services while we went diving. They were fine. Lo was 6 months when we went. We also specifically chose beaches for the childcare and all inclusive diving.

Cons: we didnt like that they had so many people watching the kids at the day care center and rotated in and out. Any instructions we gave to the one on duty when we dropped off did not carry through to the next shift. We were charged $10 per hour when we went diving since we had to leave lo during "off" hours... before 9am and between noon and 1pm due to the dive boay schedule. The noise level (mostly conversations between the ladies at the day care) kept lo from napping.

Pros: We were able to drop her off any time. We loved the sesame street themed resort. They did a pretty good job with keeping her feeding and changing schedule.

@Mrs. Blue: I've been doing research today and the Club Med resorts look really nice. The Club Med in Cancun is opening a bunch of new areas of their resort in June 2014--it looks awesome and is very reasonably priced!

i haven't, BUT i am headed there next week! to the one in turks & caicos. a friend recommended it to us and she knew a lot of people that have gone there with their kids, and said that they loved it. the big draws for me were that they are all-inclusive (including alcohol), they have 17 restaurants where no one will give a damn about your kid melting down and throwing their entire dinner on the floor, and there is a DAYCARE included in the price! i'm super excited (although i know something will inevitably go wrong...LO will get sick, as she is wont to do when we travel...or there will be a gigantic snowstorm on the day we fly out...the a/c will be broken...etc)!,

We're trying to find a place to visit this summer with the Baby Dudes, when they're around 17 months old. Beaches, while not cheap, seems like it might be good since they have childcare services for babies and toddlers, too. It seems less daunting to travel with them if we can have some family time, but also do a few things on our own.

Anyone had any experiences with the Beaches resorts? We're open to other suggestions that offer optional childcare for kids under 2. Most seem to only be for 3 or 4 and up.
