I am not someone who seeks the approval of others, so I have been somewhat surprised at how much their approval has meant to me!</p> <p>I guess I am grateful for all the work that our parents did to raise us, especially since becoming a parent myself. So their happiness with their grandkids has meant a lot. I dunno, I'm still figuring out my feelings here! It's been a nice part of becoming a parent tho. I'm so happy that everyone gets along.</p> <p>Anyone else surprised at how parental approval of your kids means a lot to you? </p>
