The salesguy checked it over pretty thoroughly. Mine was physically in good shape (no cracks) but had some scratches. My iphone 5 is physically in pretty good condition, there is one very minor little ding near the top corner - and that was enough for them to take it from the max $200 trade-in to $86... but honestly, my phone being two years old and having a crappy battery - I think it's more than what I'd get for it online. </p> <p>But yes, I'd say they're pretty strict about the condition.
