@Princessbaby: That's exactly how I felt, like I was bracing myself for it all night! I would always wonder when I went to bed "what time will it go off tonight", and it's so scary when it goes off even when you know it's almost certainly a false alarm. I guess that's when I knew it was time to stop using it. I was sad to give it up though! I love the Snuza.

@Beehive: yes- I dread it every single night! DH says that he hears the covers thrown back and my feet pounding the ground before he really realizes the beeper is going off. He's always like 30 seconds behind me and he marvels at how fast I move- like breakneck speed to get to her. But I think I keep expecting it to go off, like bracing myself, so I'm on edge about it. I get like no good sleep bc I stress about her!

@PrincessBaby: @scg00387: yeah he's a mover...it's like a party in his crib! He can't crawl but he manages to end up in a completely different spot and position than where I left him.
I guess I'm just going to have to calm down a little.

We also started having lots of false alarms right around that age. It is so scary! I think for me the Snuza changed from bringing me great peace of mind to dreading the alarm going off each night. We never tried putting it on the side of the diaper, though.

We actually stopped using it a few weeks ago, after he was 6 months old. What makes me feel better is that even though J loves to sleep on his stomach now, he can very easily flip himself on to his back and flips back and forth all night long. That's made me relax a little.

@wheres_c: @PrincessBaby: just to chime in that we had issues with our angelcare and a movin and shakin sleeper (5.5 m). We just had to turn it off - he wedges along the edges of the crib and it can't detect him. I've just had to relax about it, which is not helpful advice, but don't buy the angelcare if you're already having issues!

@wheres_c: Does he move everywhere in the crib? H is a traveler. She rolls and scoots and just generally causes mayhem in the crib while sleeping, lol...So the AC def wouldn't be any better...

We tried on the side but got false alarms. Last night was our first night without it.
It's my crutch too! Debating whether to buy an angelcare....

We put DS's on the side and have only had 3 false alarms when it came loose from his pants (we clip it to his pants instead of his diaper).

The Snuza is my crutch and has given me sooooo much reassurance about H stopping breathing/SIDS. She rolls to her belly when she sleeps now and loves a nice face plant sometimes. Eventually she usually moves her head, but sometimes I look at the monitor in the middle of the night and freak bc I don't know how long she's been like that and I jump out of bed to go move her. I'm super on-edge about it, and DH says I 'm driving myself crazy with worry. The only thing that saves me from never sleeping at all is the Snuza.

Untillllll....We have started to get false alarms. We've had 3 so far, all while she was on her stomach. One was last night and needless to say my heart stops and I have to FloJo it in there screaming her name. It is a lot of adrenaline and drama!

I am too scared to quit using the Snuza altogether on my little face planter, but have read on here suggestions to put it on the side of the dipe. But I googled it and found a lot of people say they got more false alarms that way?

Anyone do this for their belly sleeper? H is 5.5 mos btw...
