@chopsuey119: @blackbird: Totally looks freaky to me! I told DH and he said, "well, you can rest assured the thing was developed and tested in Asia, where everything is safe!" *note sarcasm* He put an end to that.

It looks like such a freaky, odd, unsafe thing...but at the same time is kind of genius because they get to feel the sensation of the water and everything without going under. And obviously they're totally supervised and nothing's going to happen with you being 6" away.

Look ma, i'm weightless!

@shopaholic: when she was younger it was awkward getting the ring around her neck bc as you know, infants have no neck and their heads slump.
I did feel like the ring pulled her chin down a bit.
When she got a little older we tried the ring again and she hated it. We probably used the thing 3-4x total?

It eventual became a fun toy for her to play with. The bells make a pretty sound :)

@chopsuey119: Darn! I just saw your old post on it too! Did you think it was pulling on her neck/head?

@LemonLong: Aww! She looks so chill!

We have one, we've only tried it twice and both times I think she was super tired so I can't really tell if she likes it or not.

Here's a video of her using it in the tub. I think it would work better in the pool though.

@shopaholic: HAHA YES! We had one. Used it a handful of times.
DH JUST dropped it off at Goodwill!!!! Wish I knew you wanted to try it.

I don't think it's worth it. We just got the ring and not the tub. Tried it a few times in the bathtub and it didn't look comfortable for DD.

Has anyone tried this Swimava swimming ring thing? I've seen it on a couple of babies younger than Kaitlyn, and though it looks really freaky to me, I think it's kind of cool that they can learn to swim so young?

Would love to hear from anyone who's actually used it. Is it worth $32?
