@FaithFertility: Thanks!

@lazypanda: Yay for the squinter!!! Praying its the real deal for you. Yeah not having a long commute makes such a difference. My husband went from an hr commute each way 5 days a week to working from home and its been great. I can totally relate to the being bored at work thought. We just moved across the country this past summer and I switched jobs from working in a big busy hospital to a smaller one with less going on. I work part time instead of full time which I love but its not as stimulating or exciting.

@Mrs.Pinecone316: how did the ultrasound go? Hopefully everything has been going great for you! The new job is not stressful at all which is good for pregnancy but I feel bored at times. It's definitely made me appreciate my old job's benefits a lot more but also made me realize how much more time I have now that I don't have such a long commute. I've also been able to go back to acupuncture since I only work 4 days a week. Also, I just got a squinter so maybe the universe is telling me something. :wink: :heart:

@lazypanda: I'm sorry about not having IF coverage. My IVF was 100% out of pocket before. Seems so unfair! How are you liking your new job?

@hellobeeboston: @Amorini: Thank you!

@agold: I have severe stage IV endometriosis. I had 2 surgeries prior to my 1st pregnancy to remove large endometriomas. I always heard pregnancy was the best thing you could do for your endometriosis to put it at bay. I BF for 7 months and my period returned maybe a month or so later. Since then I have had a very regular period which wasn't the case before and also no pain like before. I knew my endo has improved since I had my daughter but my husband also had low morphology so I wasn't sure how that would play a role in us TTC naturally.

@pachamama: Yes you hear those stories a lot!

As for me, I am 8.5 weeks, my first ultrasound is wednesday. Praying and hoping for the best. Its so weird this time around, At this point last pregnancy from IVF I had multiple blood draws, and several ultrasounds so its hard to get to excited not knowing whats going on in there. But I will know soon enough.

This is anecdotal but out of my 5 friends who struggled terribly to get pregnant, all got pregnant naturally for #2 very quickly! In fact, most of them (myself included) who were slogging through the IF stuff got pregnant naturally for baby #1.

Update! I can't believe I'm writing this but I got a positive test yesterday after 2 months of trying. I'm in shock! It's so early so I'm cautious about being too excited but Just knowing it happened on its own is a miracle! Any new updates with the rest of you?

@Mrs.Pinecone316: Thanks, you too! It's such a relief with the frozen embryos and all. I think I may just enjoy TTC this time. Exactly *how* out-of-state will your frosties be? If very far, that does sound complicated! Ours are out of state also, but it's still only a 45-minute drive.

I'm more concerned about doing things right according to our insurance. Like, I wonder if I need to be tested again? What does our insurance need in order to cover us this time around? I'm sure the RE's office will tell us, but our IF clinic's insurance person is not greaaaat.

@Mrs.Pinecone316: Sorry, that was totally vague and I should have specified - all of us got pregnant naturally! I was incredibly shocked - it took me five years to conceive my first, I did eight IUIs and two IVFs, and then we were just starting to talk about whether we wanted to try to do a second and what treatments we were willing to go through when I got pregnant naturally.

My husband and I just decided we are going to start trying for number two this past weekend (eek!) but I'm worried about some of the same things. We have an 18 month old but it took us 2.5 years to have him and we were in the midst of IF treatments when we found out we were pregnant naturally. Due to that we aren't sure how long to give it before talking to our RE again. I think we will probably give it 6 months of trying then call up our old RE again. I'm not sure if it should be sooner or not, I could see myself freaking out after 3 months haha. I'm definitely not looking forward to the TTC phase again, it was so tough on our marriage and I'm already having anxiety about it all. I hope everything works out for you and you are expecting number two soon!!!

@Mrs.Pinecone316: We are in an incredibly similar situation! LO, conceived through IVF, is 16m, and we're just starting to actually TTC for #2. We have four frozen embryos, and we're gonna wait 9 months of trying on our own before going back to the RE. The 9 months is kinda arbitrary.

And I totally hear you about there being less pressure knowing that you have some frosties. TTC this time is gonna be soooo different.

@YogiRunner: Congrats! It's nice having such a young baby and not having to worry about TTC again for awhile. Right around a year I started to feel it looming that we had to get a plan.

@erinbaderin: How many of you girls got pregnant naturally after IVF? That is a total dream of mine and but knowing I have frozen embryos def eases some of the pressure this time around

.@KT326: Yeah that makes sense. I live in a different state then where I did IVF so if it was easier to just go back to my RE I would probably do that.

I'm not TTC but I just wanted to say good luck! And also tell you that I was in a Facebook group for women who got pregnant through IVF and we all had Jan/Feb 2014 babies. There are ten of us, four of whom were having a second child or decided to stop at one, and of the remaining six I have a four month old and three others are currently pregnant! People used to tell me about friends of friends who did IVF and then got pregnant easily the next time and I used to roll my eyes and think it was rare but it definitely happens!

Once we were ready we went straight back to the RE. We weren't preventing at all (DS was 3.5 years old when we went back) and nothing happened so I knew we would need help again. Because we had waited so long between kids and it was a new RE, we had to repeat all our testing before we could start any treatments.

Hi Everyone!
I have a 15 month old from IVF and we are finally talking about TTC for #2 in a couple months. Anyone else in a similar situation? How long are you trying naturally before going back to your RE? We have 3 frozen embryos but moved to a new state so it will complicate things a little if we do go that route.
