Granted, my kids are older (9 months) but when I get up to nurse them I try to keep my phone off so they don't get distracted by the light. I don't mind falling asleep with them nursing, as they're big enough now not to suffocate in my boobs or anything, haha. I also like to imagine that if I am relaxed and sleepy, they will become relaxed and sleepy too. Like I'm transmitting tranquil vibes through my boobs, ha! Even when they were little, I was never a MOTN tv watching nurser as i have twins and was always trying to keep baby 2 asleep while I worked on baby 1.
