@mrs.kiwi: We have this one: https://www.amazon.com/Frozen-84299-Activity-Table-Set/dp/B00LCVVKJQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1498739814&sr=8-1&keywords=frozen+table+and+chairs+for+kids

Our house is 1100 sq. ft., so kind of small with the four of us, two cats, and a dog. We keep the table folded up behind their bedroom door when it's not in use. I wish the chairs folded, but we tuck them under our dining room table in the kitchen to get them out of the way.

We didn't do folding tables but we did eat sort of Japanese style with the cushions in the living room and used that table also as a coffee table. It did get messy because we had carpet, so there's that. We got it from a Japanese market nearby but you can also get them online. I used IKEA covers for them so I could wash the kids' mess off of them.

We live in a 900sq ft apartment and are expecting #3. I'm thinking of all I can do to maximize space and storage.

Thinking about using these fold-up tables instead of actual table and chairs. Anyone use one for their kiddo? Any thoughts or reviews?

I'm thinking about setting it out for a snack or for crafts and activities. My kids are 3 and 16 mo and I'm hoping to use them until age 4-5?
