I've put profiles on Sittercity and Aupair, and I've gotten way more responses on Care.</p> <p>The first job I had, they ran their own background check, too.</p> <p>I second meeting in a public place. I posted a job and got 30 responses, most of which didnt even give me any of the info I asked for! I did get 2 good responses and interviewed them, then chose one and she has been great! They had narrowed it down to like 2 people. Both said they were open to background checks. </p> <p>When my SIL did the check, one of the girls came back with some things on her record!
