One of my friends told me, before I got pregnant, that daycares in our area don't do part time. Obviously she did not do her research. I have gone to four daycares so far to look into them and all four do part time! I am going to be talking to my boss at some point about 1 year of part time work. I'm happy we have so many options around for part time daycare. Where I live it is fairly common to do part time day care. You are only charged for the days you need. I guess it is kind of like a puzzle getting everyone and their day requirements to fit. I was lucky in that I had some flexibility in the actual days I needed.
