@caterw: We have this one and only a small portion is see through.

We got these when they were on sale for like $1. I dont love them but they do work well and we've used them many times.

Are the reusable pouches see-through? My kid is pretty picky about new foods and I think she would rebel if I gave her green applesauce lol.

@Mrs. Lion: yup! It has a ton of natural liquids so you don't even need to water it down. Any squash really works but that's basically the blandest we found.

Check the ingredients on LO'S favorite pouches! Then make it about half the first ingredient, and a bit of each of the rest of them.

@regberadaisy: Yes, but it was for a 3 oz pouch, so I"m going to double it. I just stumbled across Happy Family's website and they list recipes, yay!

@Tanjowen: you've inspired me to look up breakfast recipes. That's our hardest meal to squeeze in. Is that blueberry one, per pouch?

@regberadaisy: Yeah, we have tried the ones with quinoa, and he makes faces and hands them back to me. :bummed:

@Mrs. Lion: Seriously though, the pouch addiction is crazy, haha!

@MrsSRS: Good idea on the zucchini, thank you. I saw one just a minute ago for a blueberry, oatmeal and applesauce pouch that I"m going to try too (18 blueberries, 2 tbsp applesauce, 1/2 tbsp oatmeal).

If you make something too thick amd want to sneak a veggie in, add some steamed, pureed zucchini to it. It's pretty flavorless but adds a ton of liquid. Mango and yogurt pair well with lightly flavored veggies like zucchini, chickpeas or beans, green beans.

@Tanjowen: I make the ones for myself in small mason jars because for some reason the idea of eating out of a pouch grosses me out ;) but my 3 year old has never met a pouch he doesn't like. He's so picky but man he will eat anything in pouch form haha

We use little green pouch and usually just put applesauce for a snack. Whatever you make, make sure it's pretty funny! I made something that was thicker and they were not fans. :/

Sweet potatoes with a bit of yogurt or milk and cinnamon is a huge hit!

Another basic one is a spaghetti squash mixed with applesauce. It's basically the same consistency.

My kids still both eat pouches all the time. Sometimes I put just plain applesauce or yogurt because it's easier!

@FaithFertility: Yes, these can be kept frozen! And they can be washed in the dishwasher too. I was torn between these and the Squooshi ones, but reviews said these cleaned easiest, so they won out. I am a bit worried that I should have gone with the smallest size as my LO is very suspicious of any change, but we'll find out tomorrow if he cares.

I purchased reusable pouches today from Amazon because my LO is in love with them still at age 2, and I can easily get veggies or dairy down him at least one time a day at snack time.

I tried looking up recipes on Pinterest but every link I seemed to click on was broken, ugh. Anyone have any recipes they want to share? I have a ton of different veggies I can steam and bough yogurt today in preparation.
