We use the rock us wirelessly, occasionally we have issues, but we have a large house and the router is on a different floor under a desk! The roku connects better than my ipad does in the bedroom.

We do. I think we have it plugged in. It's right beside the router, so I don't think it would matter either way. The connection is fine, though the Roku itself restarts occasionally.

We have our Roku plugged in to the network-- it works wirelessly, but the connection is always spotty if it isn't hardwired, IMO. We use the Roku for Netflix, too, and find that it works better when it's not on wifi.

I am wondering how it works? Do you have to hook it up to a router or just to your TV - is it wireless? Is it plug and play or do you need to set it up.
