I had to temp, and that worked well for me until trying to get pregnant. My biggest problem (TMI) is telling the difference between CM and what's leftover after a night with my husband.. if you get my drift. I recommend checking out the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. After reading about the different methods, I ended up using a combination of creighton and temping, both to avoid pregnancy for 2 years and later on to (successfully) try for a baby. It really teaches you a ton about your fertility!
