LO is 12 mo this weekend (eek!) and I had waffled between pulling the goalie sometime between 12-24 mo. Ideally I'd love a 3 yr age gap, but want a minimum of 2 yr gap. Took us a while and a miscarriage to get pregnant with LO, and I want a super low stress TTC this time around so we decided to pull it earlier than we usually would just to keep the pressure low. I had planned when she was 18 mo, but then thinking to move it up a couple more months (basically start in January when it would be a minimum 2 yr gap) but then had a bad stomach bug over the weekend and was imagining if I had bad morning sickness with the next pregnancy and having a toddler and then decided LO would be an only child! Ha. Not really but it definitely ground my baby fever down for a while. So waiting another 4-6 mo anyhow. I do get that jealous twinge when I hear about pregnancies too! Maybe that still is an echo from my miscarriage. Super weird. We just had a surprise pregnancy that ended in early m/c. That confirmed for me that we do want a 3rd baby....I think the plan is to try not to get pregnant for a few more months and then TTC in the new year (after R is 1 and weaned.) On the one hand, I think the timing would be better to wait a few more months....and R isn't even sleeping through the night yet AND I'm enjoying being fit and eating and drinking what I want (within reason)!
