@matador84: Wow, good for you. I have to squeeze long runs in on the weekends and even finding time then is a challenge.

@BabyBoecksMom: Same - 4/430 is painful but so is 5/530 so I suck it up.

I used to but dealing with pumping/feeding/being ready for my work day makes it a challenge. Once I stop BFing I hope to be a little more consistent.

@Espion: I did this morning for the first time in a long time! And really, all it takes is the first few mornings to get in a groove. There is just something so empowering about knowing that you accomplished [fill in the blank here] before most folks were even reaching for the snooze button!

When I used to run a lot my favorite time of day to go running is in the morning. It really helped start my day. I plan on starting again but the weather here is just so weird. One day it's 80s but feels like 90s and the next it's in the low 70s and really breezy and cold feeling. It's been like this for weeks...

I started a C25K and never finished it because I got sick and then pregnant, but I always got up to do it before work. I started over yesterday, at 6w4d postpartum. I left the house at 5:30am so I could be home in time to shower and pump before my husband needed to get ready for work. (I am still on maternity leave.)

I live across the Hudson from NYC, so when I go running I head to the pier with a great view of the skyline. I always take a photo and post it on FB. Here is yesterday's shot.

@mrbee: I used to work out 6 days a week starting at 4:30 am. I fell off the wagon early in pregnancy, and then just never got back on. I rarely missed a workout because it was first thing in the morning!

I am actually more motivated to keep going & not quit if I'm pushing the jogging stroller so I usually wait about an hour after LO & I have breakfast & we go together. That for sure happens twice a week. Once or twice a week I go with my SIL & we run the straights & walk the curves for 1.5 miles at the high school track.

Now that the weather is getting warmer and DD sleeps until 6:45ish I try to run in the mornings. I love starting my day with some alone time and everything is looking pretty and green. Although it doesn't always work out if she wakes up off schedule since I need to be back by the time DH needs to get ready for work. But I would recommend a morning run if you can get out of bed (which is hard sometimes!)

I would much rather do a late night workout than get up early. I've had a lot of night runs (after 9 pm) and used to love them. But I can't do that anymore so now I squeeze runs in during lunch. I think my DH would die of shock if I got up early for a run. ;)

@mrbee: um...no. Not in my adult life.
I used to in high school and def thinking about returning the summertime. It could be really easy for me; DH goes to work at 9:30am so it wouldn't be very early that I'd have to go.
I do love sleep so I would first have to get into a decent bedtime routine with my husband. We're night owls and we like to get in bed at the same time as one another.
