There are no seams (I had a pair of rain boots that opened up at the seam and were basically useless). Also, when you buy the liners, they can last 2 years. I bought them for my daughter last fall and she had to wear them with a liner since they were big. But now they fit her perfectly without the liner. Totally worth the investment imo! I think we purchased the My First Gloss boots from Nordy's for around $50, but you can prob find gently used pairs on EBay for $25ish? I had Tretorns before that cracked after a couple of years. And I'm personally not a fan of the kind with the fabric backing on the inside. </p> <p>I do think they are rather pricey for kids' shoes if they outgrow them really fast, but I sized up for hopefully a couple years of wear. I also chose a neutral color so they can be worn by a future sibling, and the resale value is pretty good!
