I don't like the way any of them look. I am a Birkenstock / Dansko kind of person. But I'm trying to be a better adult, and we have some "events" this spring related to my husbands job and I'd like to not look ridiculous.</p> <p>I'm going to try this dress, probably get it hemmed to just above the knee or maybe slightly higher if it works out.<br /> I need a country club cocktail party appropriate sandal, and a more casual flat or low wedge? for some dinners out we have this spring (one is in early May so it could be cool still)<br /> No more than about a 2 inch heel, and it has to be a wedge style (I'm just bad at being a lady, guys. I literally don't know how to walk in heels). Comfort is key. Since I need two pair they really have to be affordable. </p> <p>I have a pair of flat gladiator sandals from gentle souls that I adore, but I'm thinking with this dress I will need a little lift to not look squat. I also have a low wedge heel in a brownish burgundy color, but I'm not sure the colors will work.</p> <p>Are these terrible?
