My doc thinks there is no good science connecting NKas and infertility, and that the new intralipid treatments they use to replace IVIG infusion (because IVIG was incredibly expensive) are just placebos because they are missing whatever it was in IVIG that ostensibly treated the immunity issues. He is one of the top dogs at a top NYC clinic, but of course this is just his opinion. I will say that although there seems to be a lot of doctors on the web who treat immunological issues, in real life, I think only a very small percentage of REs do so. My RE also says the reproductive immunologists do a very good job at marketing themselves and praying upon the fears of women. It wasn't something that I asked for (I had no idea what they were testing for) but it was part of their standard panel. It sounds like it's worth asking about! I don't know if my RE clinic is capable of testing for this but I will ask at my next appointment. </p>
