@mrskc: Thank you! That definitely gives me some hope that it is not a thyroid thing!

I had low pre-O temps as well. Even after O, they weren't that high compared to others charts. I think mouth breathing can contribute. I'm a mouth breather. Here is my chart for you to compare. I only charted one month and got a BFP. I've heard of the thyroid thing. Something to maybe look into.

@kml636: Thanks for your thoughts... I'm also wondering if it could be because I am a mouth breather. Fertility Friend does say that temps could be lower due to that, too. Hopefully it is that simple! I'm just excited because I am now in the 97s post-O, so hopefully that is good enough!

Hi There, I am not sure what the low temp means but I just wanted to say that yes, that sounds low... So sorry! Hope you find out more soon!

This is my first month actually temping (we're in TTC cycle 8) and I am finding that my pre-O temps seem pretty low compared to most charts I see on Fertility Friend. I'm probably averaging around 96.5, where it seems like a lot of ladies are solidly in the 97s pre-O. I'm happy to see that is has gone up post-O (I think based on my OPK a couple of days ago) and I had a temp of 96.8 this morning. I'm hoping that it continues to rise in the next couple of days confirming O. Anyone else have low pre-O temps? Have you asked your doctor about that? My acupuncturist suggested that I should have a thyroid panel done...
