LO2 is currently seeing a PT once a week for motor delays. Apparently I didn't do enough tummy time with her and now she lacks core strength. :bummed: She's almost 7 months old now and she's been in pt for about 8 weeks. She's made a lot of progress! No idea when she will graduate. Hopefully soon!

My daughter went to PT for torticollis and an uneven flat spot on her head. I think she went every 2 weeks starting around 11 weeks old. The torticollis improved and she was released from therapy after a few months and has had a couple of evaluation sessions to check on her since. We had her head scanned, and she ended up not needing the helmet, but her head still isn't quite rounded out yet at 11 months old.

LO 2 went between 12-20 months for gross motor delays. They wanted us in every 2 weeks but didn't have many openings so we went every 3-6 weeks.

How often do they go? Why did they start going?

Babies have been going to physical therapy for the 5 months on a weekly basis. They started going in March (6 months old) and DS just got the okay to stop PT. DD will be assessed next week. They first went for torticollis and flat head. PT successfully helped prevent them having to use a helmet. PT helped with other things too, like crawling and standing. DS is on track for both his chronologic and adjusted age. I'm hoping DD is on track as well. It was fascinating the tests they were having DS do.
