To speak to your actual question, though, I think the top picture looks prettier but I prefer the taste of the bottom picture. For DDs birthday i am thinking about doing small fruit pies as favors (5inc pies) and I'm wondering which will be simpler? I think if I can find pre made pie crusts of the right size it would be easier to just top the pie with a fullcrust and maybe punch out a shape to make it pretty. Sometimes it hard to get the top of the pie to look nice and symmetrical. I always struggle with folding the pie crust edges. So i was wondering if i should go the crumble route since its more straight forward to sprinkle it on top.
