Even then I'll ignore reminders until whatever I'm using becomes obsolete! I don't use iCal or music on iTunes, but I've had the horrible experience of having my apps all wiped out and replaced with whatever was saved on the computer. I havent had any issues with syncing or anything. I love my iphones (we also have 2 ipads, multiple ipods, a macbook air, and a Mac Desktop lol) but every person is different. Ive never tried an Android so I dont know if I would like it better. But dont be scared of it. It probably took several years off of my life, but I would just always insist on syncing. It was awful. I finally broke down and bought The Missing Sync which didn't even solve all of my problems. Life is so much better now that I use a phone that syncs perfectly with my Gmail and google calendar. Now everything is online and I can access it with any computer anywhere. </p> <p>Now, syncing my work calendar with my google calendar is whole different story... (at work I use a Macbook Pro with Entourage... ughhhh) I have my Entourage sync with iCal, then I use a third party app to sync iCal with google calendar. I constantly get multiples of events. I was pissed because the version I of OSX I needed wasn't for sale on the apple website, and it was selling for $90 on Amazon. Luckily I called Apple, and they sent me Snow Leopard for $20. It was an easy upgrade. This weekend I had to get a new iphone (due to issues with gravity and things dropping) and the new iphone won't sync up with my itunes until I download the latest version. I can't install the latest version until I download the latest Mac OSX something or another, and the one I need we have to pay for! I'm so irritated. I have a MAC! Why am I being forced to do this when, if I had a PC, I wouldn't have to! The only computer I have ever synced my phone with. I had downloaded some new ringtones that I wanted to sync. </p> <p>Since I had never synced (sunk? Lol) ringtones before, the "sync ringtones" box wasn't ticked. So, I ticked it. A warning box popped up and said that any music synced from another computer would be deleted if I synced to this one. So, I figured I was okay, right? Because all my music and stuff WAS synced from that very same computer. So, I said okay. And lo and behold... There went all my music. Arrg!</p> <p>It's all on the computer, so it's not like I've lost it for good or anything. It just takes a good half hour at least to get it all back on (because this same thing has happened to me twice already). Plus LO has just had one of those days... I spent 20 minutes trying to lull him to sleep, only to have him wake up the second I put him in his cot. He basically hasnt stopped moaning, (not crying, cause theres no tears!) allllll day. Even while BFing. Which Is the only way i managed to write this whole post. First world problems I guess!</p> <p>&lt;/rant&gt;</p> <p>Thanks for listening/reading! </p>
