We loved our Applecheeks! I tried a few different brands of PUL diapers, some AIO's some pockets and AppleCheeks were hands down my favourite.
My LO was a really heavy wetter, we found once we were into twos that doubling up the liners was the key for us.
If we used as a pocket ours agitated out 95% of the time, I felt it was a big bonus being able to use them either way. Not having to dry them in the machine is awesome too, the dry super fast when hung.
They are expensive and have really good resale. There are a couple of good Facebook groups to pinpoint any issues, cloth diapering support or just BST. I'd have to check on the group names!
If you have any other questions let me know, we used them from 10 days old til 21 months. :)

PS There is another brand like Applecheeks called AMP diapers. Cheaper but not totally sure what differences are. Eta:

I call them Annie Marie Padorie’s (which is what my grandfather used to call me). Since everyone had a hard time remembering the name we shortened the name to AMP. I’m so happy to be able to offer them to other cloth diapering families. I no longer sew all the diapers myself, I now have a wonderful team of men and women that work very hard at making the highest quality products possible. Every AMP diaper is made in our own factory right here in Winnipeg, MB our employees make a fair wage and work in comfortable and safe working conditions. Happy diapering!
Sincerely,
Annie Marie Padorie

I love mine! The group Peach Love Applecheeks on Facebook has a lot of information.

They fit my son really well at 10lbs and now through 17lbs the size ones are just getting tight. We have used them both as pockets and as a cover.

I may be selling my size one stash soon since he's our last baby. I will let you know!

I really wanted to love Applecheeks, but we never got our inserts to agitate out in the wash. I think it was because we didn't have an HE washer, but that made them a no-go for us.

@loveisstrange: good to know!

@jetsa: yep. They are sized AIOs. The liners snap in and you don't have to remove them to wash.

You might check out Peachy Green diapers too. They are made in Missouri with organic materials. We have a few and we LOVED them.

I like them as covers, but not as pockets. They fit my daughter very well but she leaks at the legs. I'm not giving up on them though. With baby #2 I want to use them.

I had a couple of each size mixed into my mixed brand stash. Neither or my kids fit well in the size 1s, they both had/have leg leaks despite one being a super pudgy girl. The size 2s were even worse, and I found that the inserts only popped out about 1\2 the time. They are definitely not my go to's ... More like laundry day diapers.

Any Applecheeks diapers users here? Tell me about your experiences!

We used mostly BG Freetimes with DD and I liked them, but now the elastics have relaxed so much that they leak and I'm not thrilled about the process of replacing them. I also don't love the flaps when I need to spray them.

So for a hypothetical future baby 2, I want to try something different. Applecheeks caught my attention because of the fact that they are made ethically in North America and are really cute, and that the inserts agitate out in the wash so I don't have to touch dirty diapers.

They are pricey though, so I'm looking for success stories that confirm it's a good investment. Thoughts?
