Our bengal kitten is considered hypo, we had company who have a son who is highly allergic to cats and he didn't have any priblems with her. She crawled all over him and licked his face, thry said normally he'll have an asthma attack or swell up. I can't upload pics from my phone and they aren't on my work computer either. This is still mostly his kitten under coat. His outer coat is slowly growing in.</p> <p>He's hypoallergenic because there is only a trace amount of the usual cat allergen in his saliva. But additionally, Siberians only shed twice a year, for a week or two each time. So we don't even have to contend with cat hair everywhere (though I'm sure those couple of weeks will be brutal when the time comes!).</p> <p>ETA: We did need to go through a breeder to get him, though, which may or may not coincide with your individual cat ownership preferences.
