She reminds me of myself when I was little. She is such a little dare devil and is all over the place all the time! She can already do a summersault and will do one when I ask her to. She seems to really enjoy doing tumbling with me at home. I am going to go ahead and sign her up :)

Ours starts at 18 months, we were planning on the mommy & me class, but I think we are going to wait another session since her bedtime is so early right now, thinking with summer she might stay up a little later.

We started later than I would have liked, so I think if the class is offered, you should enroll. For example, our soccer clinic begins at 18 months. The instructors have ways to get the kids to listen, it's amazing!

I think it depends on the child. DD has always been a climber and risk taker so I think it will be good for her to be in something like gymnastics. She's 2 and I'm starting her in the next couple of weeks.

Ours starts at 15 months and goes up to 3 years for Mommy and Me classes

Then at age 3 they are done independently (w/o mom). I am going to start my DD in April when the next session starts!

I want to start my 17 month old in parent tot tumbling classes. We plan to put her into tumbling, dance, and cheerleading at age 3. DH thinks she is to young for a tumbling class but I think it would just be a fun thing for her and I to do together and she will be familiar with the gym and teachers when she does start class independently at age 3. If she really dislikes any of these activities we will pull her out of them but right now the plan is dance, cheer, tumbling, and whatever else she may want to do as she gets older. Do you think 17 months old is to young for a parent tot tumbling class? What age will/did you start your LO in activities?
