I'm actually thinking of getting a new one for the both of them for Easter since ours has gotten crummy. My toddler spent so much time drawing on it and I love that I don't have to worry about her marking up the walls if I don't pay attention. She has no problem coloring over the drying areas. It's ok. But I find that the mat takes awhile to dry, at least with our brand, so they can really only play with it one round before it has to be dried. I wouldn't buy one myself.</p> <p>Eta: I just double checked and ours is the Aquadoodle brand.
