<description>&#60;p&#62;I think it's fine as long as you're both fine with it. My hubby and I don't agree on everything, I doubt any set of parents do. I do what I feel comfortable with and so does he. As long as nobody is hurting the baby, I don't think it's a big deal.

<description>&#60;p&#62;If the rules are the same with both parents, then I don't see a problem.  We did have a &#34;Quit having fun!  Dad's home!&#34; thing going on for a few years (Mom didn't care if we rough-housed, so long as nothing got broken) but we recognized that our dad just had a lower tolerance for noise.

<description>&#60;p&#62;My husband and I have different parenting styles. He is very hands-on and hovers over our 1-year-old. I consciously try to be more of a Free Range  parent. I am trying to figure out if it is ok for parents to have two different styles of parenting, or if we should work toward one style? It's not something we argue over (yet) but I am worried that it could become a problem later. I also think it could be healthy and good to have different perspectives in our family, so I'm not sure if we really need to change anything. Thoughts?
