For the most part, yes! I think the fabrics are likely a higher quality, and they're just made better in general.

I think it depends on the company, but generally, yes. I find a big difference between Banana Republic and their factory stores. I'm a huge fan of their factory stores, but if there's a big sale at their regular store, I prefer to purchase from there. The warmth and quality of the cardigans are a great example in quality difference.

Most definitely! (Depends on the designer tho!) Better quality, longer-lasting, custom fit, etc.

I find they don't pill in the wash, they look new after numerous washings, they fit better, and are made of a more luxurious fabric. I find that cheaper clothes tend to sag and lose their shape very quickly. I like them for a couple months, then they just don't look nice anymore. Especially jeans! I hang dry all of my clothes, too.

Definitely better quality, they last longer and fit better imo.

So I've never really had any designer clothes. I usually buy clothes from Target, Old Navy or JCP. I take really good care of my clothes (wash on gentle and hang dry), but I notice that after a few months of wear they start to look old.

I'm wondering if you've found the more expensive clothes to actually be higher-quality? Do they last longer? Do they fit better?
