One quick zoom around the house and no more crumbs to be seen. It's worth every penny. We have the cordless one and the upright one we got several years ago refurbished. . We keep the upright one upstairs. But my biggest vacuum need is in the kitchen and downstairs and that's where we keep cordless. I seriously vacuum after every meal (15 month old) and it's so easy. If I don't have max power on my charge is good for about 40 minutes worth of vacuuming. On max it's about 20. We have hardwood floors with rugs and it is so easy to change out the different brushes, my 5 year old can do it! Works great in our kitchen too. It's a little top heavy, took a few times of using it for my arms to get used to it. I normally do a quick vacuum of our main living areas and hallway once a day (I save the bedrooms for the cleaning lady but I'd imagine I could get all of the major exposed floor surfaces with one charge). Id say easily 15 min. I think of our cordless as an accompaniment to our miele canister. It's a stick vacuum (I think v6?) and it probably doesn't do as good a job as bigger vacuums, but it's worth it for ease of use. We use it almost every day. And honestly, it does a better job on our rugs than the vacuum that our cleaners bring and use.
