<description>&#60;p&#62;It's my understanding that a floor bed is just a mattress on the floor. So I see no reason that it would matter what age the person was that was sleeping on the mattress. I think it's just encouraged for babies/younger kids so they can get in and out of the bed easily, and also for safety so they don't hurt themselves if they accidentally rolled off.
