I'm not an expert, but I'm guessing your holiday display is really a projection, which uses a light bulb, and that can't hurt you. Even lasers that are used for concerts are only dangerous if you look directly in the beam. I didn't give it a second thought. Well tonight I'm standing by the door waiting for my dog to do his business and my DD says, " mom look at all the green dots on your belly!" Okay now I'm freaked out worrying about how many times those beams have been pointed directly at my belly. I researched a little and some say safe others say not safe. I guess I'm worried about the infrared light directly hitting my stomach and heating up fetal tissue. Sorry if I sound crazy! Anyone else have them and have you had the same concern? </p>
