I am in sales, and I call on eye doctors. Usually, if I'm just stopping in, we're both standing somewhere and discussing stuff. Since I've been preg, they all rush me to a chair to get off my feet and sit with me and want to talk for a lot longer! A lot of times they offer me food and water, too! I was in a meeting at work and it was a bit tense in the room. I got up to write something on the whiteboard and I could swear that the tension disappeared! The rest of the meeting was much more cooperative in tone. The people I was meeting with did not know I was pregnant before that day because I typically only talk to them through email and not face to face.</p> <p>On the other hand, I went shopping with a friend for a shower we are co hosting and the whole time she let me push the shopping carts and open doors, etc. I am not sure if she's just used to people doing that for her or what. Most of my other friends seem to offer doors/help with carrying things, etc. now that I am pregnant and am at 8 months! </p>
