The kind with the Velcro strap. It's pretty snowy where we live and even walking to the car his shoes get wet. For us, it is something that only gets worn a few times but you so need them if you want your kids to walk/play in the snow. We bought Sorels for DS this year. His daycare goes to the park every day, so I want his feet to be warm. It hasn't snowed yet here, but I send DS to daycare in the snow boots every day. I would imagine rain boot get pretty cold fast in the snow. Charlie has only had snow boots one season in the past because my mom bought them for him, but he didn't wear them much. We haven't had a huge need for them because he always wore his rain boots. But now that we live closer to the park and the kids loooove playing in the snow, I'm thinking they will get good use out of them.</p> <p>The problem with rain boots is that snow goes inside them when you step in deep snow. But I also don't want to waste money if they don't wear them much.</p> <p>Does your LO have snow boots? Do you get a lot of wear out of them? </p>
