I think mostly because they use more fat/butter/salt/etc than I would cook with at home haha. Salads especially I think this is true because homemade dressing is so much better than bottled. </p> <p>As for foods other people cook-- My mom makes REALLY good scrambled eggs. and I don't understand how. They're just eggs. If I make a salad or sandwich at home I am very "meh" about it. If I have them at a restaurant or a friend's house then I love them.
