But a friend of mine has a live in who works a ton of hours, cooks and cleans. She's basically like a live in grandma and everyone loves the arrangement. Their house is set up so their nanny has a separate bedroom and bathroom in the basement, though. I'm open to having a live-in nanny for this short period. However, DH is against it. </p> <p>I do want someone here from 7/7:30 am - 7 pm, though. Do nannies work for that many hours? Is that overtime? Does it maybe make more sense to have a live-in? </p>
