We were all deciding on what fruit to bring and I said I would TOTALLY bring the lemons. </p> <p>They all kind of looked at me and then one asked "lemons? I've never had that with fondu....". I said "Oh really? It's like... one of the staples for fonduing, you NEED lemons! IT's soooo delicious" They continued to stare and one of them said "ok... well, I'll definitely try it if you say it's so good". </p> <p>Anyway, I brought cantaloupe, and asked if anyone would like some lemons! OMG, they just about died. The worst part is when they say "you mean melons" I say "yup! It happens every single time. It is very awkward.</p> <p>I know the difference between the two words (obviously), but I still always say the wrong one. </p>
