Do you have an Aldi nearby? I have started making myself go there for milk, cheese and cereal at the very least because it's sooooo much cheaper than anywhere else! I have no problem with storage if it saves money in the long run.</p> <p>@spaniellove: We found that bottles of wine were about the only thing we bought that was worthwhile :) I did see an offer for $30 for Coscto for a year's membership, so it might be worth it to switch to there and give it a try.</p> <p>@shopaholic: I didn't even think about gas! The items I find worth it and why we renew:</p> <p>1. Gas<br /> 2. Steaks &amp; Fish - quality as well as price<br /> 3. Fruit<br /> 4. We let our Costco membership run out because we never went back after the first visit, and the only thing that was worthwhile was the big pack of Ziplock bags. The $55 membership fee was way more than whatever we saved! Here are the things we purchase there regularly: diapers, wipes, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags (2 sizes, kitchen and yard), bottled water. Of course, we have to have the room to store all this, so that might be something to consider. It is set to expire soon, and to be honest, I went only twice this year and bought a handful of items. It's just the two of us plus our LO, and we purchase his diapers from Target and prefer their brand.</p> <p>My question is this: Should I renew the membership for next year? With our LO getting older (turns 1 in December), are there things that I will need from there that are cheaper? The items that come to mind specifically are milk, cheese and perhaps meat. Any input from Bees that shop at warehouse clubs is very welcome! </p>
