Sometimes it just takes a while. The stress is probably not helping, but not preventing a BFP on its own.</p> <p>But if you do go 12 cycles without BFP, you should definitely see a RE. We were 33 when we started TTC again, and ended up needing IUI + injectables. Echoing what @mrswin: said - it's a 20% chance each cycle. I'm 30 and DH is 34 and we're on cycle #10 in a year now. Sometimes it just happens this way with no real reason for it. I have been charting all but the last two cycles but consistently ovulating on CD 15, with a 11-12 day LP. DH works 1.5 hours away, and we only get to spend about 4 nights a week together. I am super frustrated that it is taking this long, and trying to decide if this is a timing/stress issue or a medical issue.
