My caucasian husband will even tell others that I'm a good defensive driver and knows when to be aggressive safely. I was born and raised on the east coast. But if I make a mistake, I hate that people automatically judge me.</p> <p>I'm confident in driving in all types of conditions. If I lived on the east coast, a few inches of snow is fine by me. Now that I live in Seattle and a little snow can turn into crazy drivers and horrible dangerous road conditions, I would rather stay home then deal with it.</p> <p>Otherwise, I will fully admit that I'm a good asian driver. But I've never driven in snow so that would make me nervous and lots of rain makes me nervous. When I have to drive for work out in the field and its been raining, I get pretty nervous I'm going to get stuck in the mud. Ive now driven regularly in 2 countries that drive on opposite sides of the road, in blinding rain, snow and ice, and thick fog. I'm on the west coast (notorious for aggressive/stupid drivers). I'm kind of a bitch when I drive (if you don't use your signal, I won't let you merge, etc.) ... Particularly in city traffic where you need to be sort of aggressive in a slow way. The only thing I don't really like is trying to merge very quickly at high speeds. I am pretty aggressive, too. Not in a bad way, but I just make sure that people let me merge when they are driving like jerks. :)</p> <p>I am not afraid of driving in pouring rain/ice/hail. The only thing that bothers me is if I am really close to a wall or barricade with no shoulder. Then I will try and drive in the middle lane. </p>
