I like to play with ingredients a lot and kind of eyeball measurements. And I absolutely KNOW you can't really do that with baking but I do it anyway and then things don't turn out right. I like the real thing though:) I can follow a recipe for either, but I'm not really a come up with my own recipe on the fly kinda gal. I don't always have to have a cookbook out, but the things I make are all based on someone else's original recipe. I can bake, but it takes a lot more effort and precision which are not my strong suits. My husband is a better baker than I although I do still sometimes bake.
